Index Copernicus Value 2017: 107.89 Diversity and Equality in Health and Care is peer reviewed scholarly journal that aims to promote equality of gender, ethnicity, race, economic class and the region in terms of health and medical care by publishing well researched information related to health issues, challenges and solutions to overcome the same. Diversity is relatively a broad concept and embraces areas including (but not limited to) race, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, migrants, care givers, differently abled (including physical, communication and learning) persons, spirituality, and underserved or marginalized populations. Diversity also extends to the wide variety of settings in which care takes place and the multidisciplinary nature of professional practice. The journal caters to a wide section of the readers comprising medical practitioners, healthcare providers, teaching and practicing institutions, research agencies, policy makers, NGOs and students. The journal offers an open access platform for the authors to show case their research findings and provides free access to the published material to all. Focus Scope This journal is concerned with the equitable provision of healthcare and services for members of diverse social groups and settings in all countries in the world.
