SOMATOSENSORY AND MOTOR RESEARCH
Somatosensory & Motor Research publishes original, high-quality articles and investigations related to the neural bases for somatic sensation, somatic motor function, somatic motor integration, and somatic modeling. We encourage authors and researchers to submit their work on: Peripheral and central processes fundamental to cutaneous sensation. Afferent and efferent mechanisms of deep structures (e.g., viscera, muscle). Motor systems of the neuraxis/nueoraxis. Anatomical, physiological, biochemical, pharmacological, behavioral and psychophysical research as it relates to somatosensory. Experimental and descriptive studies in animals, including humans, as it related to somatosensory. We also welcome submissions on clinical case reports and neuropathological findings that illuminate somatosensory and motor mechanisms. Descriptions of modifications in techniques, theoretical papers and critical reviews are rarely accepted; authors contemplating such contributions should consult the Editor, Mark F. Jacquin. Somatosensory & Motor Research uses ScholarOne Manuscripts (previously Manuscript Central) to submit and peer review manuscripts.
