In Allergologie select we present English translations of selected articles from our German language journal Allergologie. Allergologie publishes review articles, original papers, case reports, up-to-date short communications, letters to the editors, readers’ questions from everyday practice with answers, current topics, society news, and also congress announcements, book reviews, etc. from all areas related to clinical and experimental allergy and immunology. This journal is regularly listed in Current Contents / Clinical Practice, EMBASE / Excerpta Medica und SCOPUS.
Founded in 1972 by Professor A. Oehling, Allergologia et Immunopathologia is a forum for those working in the field of pediatric asthma, allergy and immunology. Manuscripts related to clinical, epidemiological and experimental allergy and immunopathology related to childhood will be considered for publication. Allergologia et Immunopathologia is the official journal of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology (SEICAP) and also of the Latin American Society of Immunodeficiencies (LASID).

Publication of articles in immunology has surprisingly taken place at a very high rate for decades, and there is as yet no sign that research in this interesting field of human endeavor will subside in the near future. Interest as well as research activities in the academic forums in Iran have also grown considerably. Not many immunologists find the opportunity to have their articles published in European or North American Journals; therefore a significant number of journals are circulated in Farsi.

It has been over a century since Noon and Freeman began injecting allergic patients with allergens. Their rationale was based on the work of Edward Jenners, who had demonstrated that injecting cow pox conveyed immunity to smallpox. Surprisingly, Noon and Freeman were right. Not only did they "cure" many of their patients, they did not kill any of them.
The Asian Pacific Journal of Allergy and Immunology (APJAI) is an online open access journal with the recent impact factor (2018) 1.747 APJAI published 4 times per annum (March, June, September, December). Four issues constitute one volume. APJAI publishes original research articles of basic science, clinical science and reviews on various aspects of allergy and immunology.
