BIOPOLYMERS

Biopolymers publishes original research papers and review articles in the general area of macromolecular structure and function, as well as biologically relevant model systems. Manuscripts should report on studies that examine biological macromolecules (naturally occurring and designed), their interactions, reactions, and macromolecular assemblies at structural, chemical, and physical levels. The Journal strives to publish high-impact papers that will significantly enhance our understanding of the chemistry and/or the biology of the systems under investigation.

ACTA CRYSTALLOGRAPHICA SECTION F-STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY COMMUNICATIONS

Acta Crystallographica Section F is a rapid structural biology communications journal. Articles on any aspect of structural biology, including structures determined using high-throughput methods or from iterative studies such as those used in the pharmaceutical industry, are welcomed by the journal. The journal offers the option of open access, and all communications benefit from unlimited free use of colour illustrations and no page charges. Authors are encouraged to submit multimedia content for publication with their articles. Acta Cryst.

ACTA BIOCHIMICA ET BIOPHYSICA SINICA

About the Journal Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica (ABBS) is an internationally peer-reviewed journal sponsored by the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology (CAS). ABBS aims to publish original research articles and review articles in diverse fields of biochemical research including Protein Science, Nucleic Acids, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biophysics, Immunology, and Signal Transduction, etc.

RADIATION RESEARCH

Radiation Research is an international, scientific journal owned and published by the Radiation Research Society. The aim and scope of the Journal is to publish original, rigorously peer-reviewed research and review articles that deal with radiation effects and related subjects in the areas of physics, chemistry, biology and medicine, including epidemiology and translational research. The term radiation is used in its broadest sense and includes specifically ionizing radiation and ultraviolet, visible and infrared light as well as microwaves, ultrasound and heat.

PTERIDINES

Pteridines is an open acess international quarterly journal dealing with all aspects of pteridine research. Pteridines are heterocyclic fused ring compounds involved in a wide range of biological functions from the color on butterfly wings to cofactors in enzyme catalysis to essential vitamins. Of the pteridines, 5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobiopterin is the necessary cofactor of several aromatic amino acid monoxygenases, the nitric oxide synthases and glyceryl ether monoxygenase (GEMO).

PROGRESS IN BIOPHYSICS & MOLECULAR BIOLOGY

Progress in Biophysics & Molecular Biology an international review journal covers the ground between the physical and biological sciences. It indicates to the physicist the great variety of unsolved problems awaiting attention in biology and medicine. The biologist and biochemist will find that this journal presents new and stimulating ideas and novel approaches to studying and influencing structural and functional properties of the living organism.

PROGRESS IN BIOCHEMISTRY AND BIOPHYSICS

Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics is a journal sponsored by the Institute of Biophysics, CAS together with the Biophysical Society of China. Published mainly in Chinese, the journal has garnered broad recognition and praise in bioscience, basic medicine and other relevant fields domestically. In addition to winning numerous awards at national and provincial (ministerial) levels, the journal is also starting to be acknowledged by international academic community.

PHYSICAL BIOLOGY

Physical Biology publishes articles in the broad interdisciplinary field bridging biology with the physical sciences and engineering. This journal focuses on research in which quantitative approaches – experimental, theoretical, and modeling – lead to new insights into biological systems at all scales of space and time and all levels of organizational complexity.
