Acta Clinica Belgica: International Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Medicine primarily publishes papers on clinical medicine, clinical chemistry, pathology and molecular biology, provided they describe results that contribute to our understanding of clinical problems or describe new methods applicable to clinical investigation. Readership includes physicians, pathologists, pharmacists and physicians working in non-academic and academic hospitals, practicing internal medicine and its subspecialties.
Yonsei Medical Journal was first published in 1960. It was initially published once a year but became a biannual journal in 1968, a quarterly journal in 1986, and then a bimonthly journal in 1995. Since Yonsei Medical Journal (YMJ) became the first Korean journal indexed in Index Medicus in 1962, YMJ has been indexed/tracked/covered by MEDLINE/PubMed, PubMed Central, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), KoreaMed, Synapse, KoMCI, SCOPUS, CrossRef and Google Scholar. The Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine is a quarterly journal reviewed and edited by Yale biomedical faculty and students. In order to promote productive academic communication, the peer review process for the WJCC is transparent; to this end, all published manuscripts are accompanied by the anonymized reviewers’ comments as well as the authors’ responses.
In September 1951, the first issue of the West Indian Medical Journal was published. Its immediate predecessor was the Jamaica Medical Review which came into being through the hard work and dedication of a group of prominent local surgeons and physicians. Their stated primary aim was "the encouragement of the medical profession in the British West Indies to record individual experiences and researches considered of value no less to their colleagues in the Caribbean and elsewhere than to themselves for subsequent reference".
Military Medical Review (VSP) is the leading professional journal of Serbian Army doctors and pharmacists. It comes out 12 times a year. Papers published in the VSP are indexed by the most famous biomedical index journals (databases): Science Citation Index Expended, Index Medicus (MEDLINE database), Excerpta Medica (EMBASE), EBSCO (full text database) and Biomedicine Serbica. The contents of each issue are published by the Giornale di Medicina Militare and the Revista de Medicina Militara.
Upsala Journal of Medical Sciences is published for the Upsala Medical Society. It has been published since 1865 and is one of the oldest medical journals in Sweden. The journal publishes clinical and experimental original works in the medical field. Contributions from outside Sweden are also welcomed. The journal has an international readership. Specially extended issues are published occasionally, dealing with special topics, congress proceedings and academic dissertations.
