Genetic Testing and Molecular Biomarkers is the leading peer-reviewed journal covering all aspects of human genetic testing including molecular biomarkers. The Journal provides a forum for the development of new technology; the application of testing to decision making in an increasingly varied set of clinical situations; ethical, legal, social, and economic aspects of genetic testing; and issues concerning effective genetic counseling.
Genetics & Heredity
Genes & Diseases is an international journal for molecular and translational medicine. The journal primarily focuses on publishing investigations on the molecular bases and experimental therapeutics of human diseases. Publication formats include full length research article, review article, short communication, correspondence, perspectives, commentary, views on news, and research watch.
Pharmacogenetics and Genomics is devoted to the rapid publication of research papers, brief review articles and short communications on genetic determinants in response to drugs and other chemicals in humans and animals. The Journal brings together papers from the entire spectrum of biomedical research and science, including biochemistry, bioinformatics, clinical pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, epidemiology, genetics, genomics, molecular biology, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, and toxicology.
Public Health Genomics is the leading international journal focusing on the timely translation of genome-based knowledge and technologies into public health, health policies, and healthcare as a whole. This peer-reviewed journal is a bimonthly forum featuring original papers, reviews, short communications, and policy statements. It is supplemented by topic-specific issues providing a comprehensive, holistic and ‘all-inclusive’ picture of the chosen subject.
The journal aims to publish papers which bring together clinical observations, psychological and behavioural abnormalities and genetic data. All papers are fully refereed. Psychiatric Genetics is also a forum for reporting new approaches to genetic research in psychiatry and neurology utilizing novel techniques or methodologies. Psychiatric Genetics publishes original Research Reports dealing with inherited factors involved in psychiatric and neurological disorders.
Prenatal Diagnosis is the Official Journal of the International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis. Prenatal Diagnosis welcomes submissions in all aspects of prenatal diagnosis with a particular focus on areas in which molecular biology and genetics interface with prenatal care and therapy.
Plasmid publishes original research on genetic elements in all kingdoms of life with emphasis on maintenance, transmission and evolution of extrachromosomal elements. Objects of interest include plasmids, bacteriophages, mobile genetic elements, organelle DNA, and genomic and pathogenicity islands.
Ophthalmic Genetics accepts original papers, review articles and short communications on the clinical and molecular genetic aspects of ocular diseases. The journal invites several types of contributions divided into sections:
The Journal is appropriate for papers on behavioral, biochemical, or cellular aspects of neural function, plasticity, aging or disease. In addition to analyses in the traditional genetic-model organisms, C. elegans, Drosophila, mouse and the zebrafish, the Journal encourages submission of neurogenetic investigations performed in organisms not easily amenable to experimental genetics.
Journal of Heredity authors have the option, at an additional charge, to make their paper freely available online immediately upon publication, under the Oxford Open initiative. After the manuscript is accepted, as part of the mandatory copyright form required of all corresponding authors, authors will be asked to indicate whether or not they wish to pay to have the paper made freely available immediately.
