BIPOLAR DISORDERS

Bipolar disorders is a severe and debilitating mental illness, which has only recently started to receive the necessary attention from society, researchers, practitioners, government, and private funding agencies. In response to the need for further awareness, education, and research on this severe mental illness, the International Society for Bipolar Disorders was created in 1999. In the same year Bipolar Disorders, the official journal of the society, was launched.

JOURNAL OF SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGY

The Journal of School Psychology publishes original empirical articles and critical reviews of the literature on research and practices relevant to psychological and behavioral processes in school settings. JSP presents research on intervention mechanisms and approaches; schooling effects on the development of social, cognitive, mental-health, and achievement-related outcomes; assessment; and consultation.

JOURNAL OF YOUTH AND ADOLESCENCE

Journal of Youth and Adolescence provides a single, high-level medium of communication for psychologists, psychiatrists, biologists, criminologists, educators, and professionals in many other allied disciplines who address the subject of youth and adolescence. The journal publishes papers based on quantitative analyses, theoretical papers, and comprehensive review articles. The journal especially welcomes empirically rigorous papers that take policy implications seriously.

PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCE

Psychological Science, the flagship journal of the Association for Psychological Science, is the highest ranked empirical journal in psychology and is truly a leader in the field. The journal publishes cutting-edge research articles and short reports, spanning the entire spectrum of the science of psychology. This journal is the source for the latest findings in cognitive, social, developmental, and health psychology, as well as behavioral neuroscience and biopsychology.

POLITICAL PSYCHOLOGY

Understanding the psychological aspects of national and international political developments is increasingly important in this age of international tension and sweeping political change. Political Psychology, the journal of the International Society of Political Psychology, is dedicated to the analysis of the interrelationships between psychological and political processes.

PERSONNEL PSYCHOLOGY

Personnel Psychology publishes psychological research centered around people at work. Articles span the full range of human resource management and organizational behavior topics, including job analysis, selection and recruiting, training and development, performance appraisal and feedback, compensation and rewards, careers, strategic human resource management, work design, global and cross-cultural issues, organizational climate, work attitudes and behaviors, motivation, teams, and leadership.
