AMERICAN JOURNAL OF DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE

The American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse is an international journal published six times per year and provides an important and stimulating venue for the exchange of ideas between the researchers working in diverse areas, including public policy, epidemiology, neurobiology, and the treatment of addictive disorders. The journal includes a wide range of translational research, covering preclinical and clinical aspects of the field. The Journal covers these topics with focused data presentations and authoritative reviews of timely developments in our field.

ALCOHOL AND ALCOHOLISM

About the Journal Alcohol and Alcoholism publishes papers on the biomedical, psychological, and sociological aspects of alcoholism and alcohol research, provided that they make a new and significant contribution to knowledge in the field. Papers include new results obtained experimentally, descriptions of new experimental (including clinical) methods of importance to the field of alcohol research and treatment, or new interpretations of existing results.

ALCOHOL

Alcohol is an international, peer-reviewed journal that is devoted to publishing multi-disciplinary biomedical research on all aspects of the actions or effects of alcohol on the nervous system or on other organ systems. Emphasis is given to studies into the causes and consequences of alcohol abuse and alcoholism, and biomedical aspects of diagnosis, etiology, treatment or prevention of alcohol-related health effects.

ADDICTIVE BEHAVIORS

Addictive Behaviors is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality human research on addictive behaviors and disorders since 1975. The journal accepts submissions of full-length papers and short communications on substance-related addictions such as the abuse of alcohol, drugs and nicotine, and behavioral addictions involving gambling and technology. We primarily publish behavioral and psychosocial research but our articles span the fields of psychology, sociology, psychiatry, epidemiology, social policy, medicine, pharmacology and neuroscience.

SUBSTANCE USE & MISUSE

For nearly 50 years, Substance Use & Misuse (formerly The International Journal of the Addictions) has provided a unique international multidisciplinary venue for the exchange of research, theories, viewpoints, and unresolved issues concerning substance use and misuse (licit and illicit drugs, alcohol, nicotine, caffeine and eating disorders). Substance Use & Misuse features original, peer-reviewed articles, notes, and book reviews, as well as special issues devoted to single topics.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE

Journal currently under development. Now in its twenty third year of publication, Substance Abuse is a peer-reviewed journal that serves as the official publication of AMERSA. Unlike other journals with more narrow areas of concentration, Substance Abuse offers wide-ranging coverage for medical professionals and addiction specialists in teaching, clinical care, and service delivery.

JOURNAL OF ADDICTIONS NURSING

Journal of Addictions Nursing (JAN) Ð JAN is the official journal of IntNSA and is a peer-reviewed quarterly international journal publishing original articles on current research issues, practices and innovations as they related to the field of addictions. Submissions are solicited from professional nurses and other health-care professionals engaged in treatment, prevention, education, research and consultation.

JOURNAL OF ADDICTION MEDICINE

The mission of Journal of Addiction Medicine, the official peer-reviewed journal of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, is to promote excellence in the practice of addiction medicine and in clinical research as well as to support Addiction Medicine as a mainstream medical sub-specialty. JAM provides authors rapid publication of results via electronic published ahead-of-print and the Ovid platform, easily navigable manuscript submission software, and a steadily growing ISI Impact Factor.

EUROPEAN ADDICTION RESEARCH

European Addiction Research is a unique international scientific journal for the rapid publication of innovative research covering all aspects of addiction and related disorders. Representing an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of recent data and expert opinion, it reflects the importance of a comprehensive approach to resolve the problems of substance abuse and addiction in Europe. Coverage ranges from clinical and research advances in the fields of psychiatry, biology, pharmacology and epidemiology to social, and legal implications of policy decisions.
