SOUTHEAST ASIAN JOURNAL OF TROPICAL MEDICINE AND PUBLIC HEALTH

The SEAMEO* Regional Tropical Medicine and Public Health Project was established in 1967 to help improve the health and standard of living of the peoples of Southeast Asia by pooling manpower resources of the participating SEAMEO member countries in a cooperative endeavor to develop and upgrade the research and training capabilities of the existing facilities in these countries. By promoting effective regional cooperation among the participating national centers, it is hoped to minimize waste in duplication of programs and activities.

REVISTA DO INSTITUTO DE MEDICINA TROPICAL DE SAO PAULO

The Revista do Instituto de Medicina Tropical de São Paulo (Journal of the São Paulo Institute of Tropical Medicine) is a journal devoted to research on different aspects of tropical infectious diseases. The journal welcomes original work on all infectious diseases, provided that data and results are directly linked to human health. The journal publishes, besides original articles, review articles, case reports, brief communications, and letters to the editor. The journal publishes manuscripts only in English.

A Revista da Sociedade Brasileira de Medicina Tropical é um periódicooficial da Sociedade Brasileira de Medicina Tropical (SBMT), multidisciplinar, com acesso aberto, que publica pesquisas originais relacionadas a doençastropicais, medicina preventiva, saúde pública, doençasinfecciosas e assuntos relacionados. A preferência para publicaçãoserá dada a artigos que relatem pesquisas e observaçõesoriginais.

PATHOGENS AND GLOBAL HEALTH

Pathogens and Global Health is a journal of infectious disease and public health that focuses on the translation of molecular, immunological, genomics and epidemiological knowledge into control measures for global health threats. The journal publishes original innovative research papers, assesses and contextualises new ideas, trends and research, and interviews policy makers and opinion leaders on health subjects of international relevance.

LEPROSY REVIEW

Leprosy Review is a peer-reviewed journal including original papers on all aspects of leprosy. Topics published include research into the medical, physical, and social aspects of leprosy and information relevant to leprosy control. We publish original research, short reports, case studies, and reviews. The vision of the journal is to improve the management and control of leprosy and its consequences, by providing relevant research and sharing experiences and treatments.

JOURNAL OF TROPICAL PEDIATRICS

The Journal of Tropical Pediatrics provides a link between theory and practice in the field. Papers report key results of clinical and community research, and considerations of program development. More general descriptive pieces are included when they have an application to work proceeding elsewhere. The journal also presents review articles, book reviews and, occasionally, short monographs and selections of important papers delivered at relevant conferences.

BIOMEDICA

Biomédica, journal of the Colombian Instituto Nacional de Salud, is a scientific quarterly that operates according to Resolution 003768 of 1981 issued by the Ministry of the Interior. It has a reduced postal fee according to Resolution 1128 of May 5, 1982. Its main purpose is the publication of original research studies in the field of biomedicine. No national or foreign publication may partially or totally reproduce or translate its articles or abstracts without prior written permission from the editor.

The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository.
