RESTORATIVE NEUROLOGY AND NEUROSCIENCE

This interdisciplinary journal publishes papers relating to the plasticity and response of the nervous system to accidental or experimental injuries and their interventions, transplantation, neurodegenerative disorders and experimental strategies to improve regeneration or functional recovery and rehabilitation. Experimental and clinical research papers adopting fresh conceptual approaches are encouraged. The overriding criteria for publication are novelty, significant experimental or clinical relevance and interest to a multidisciplinary audience.

PSYCHIATRIC GENETICS

The journal aims to publish papers which bring together clinical observations, psychological and behavioural abnormalities and genetic data. All papers are fully refereed. Psychiatric Genetics is also a forum for reporting new approaches to genetic research in psychiatry and neurology utilizing novel techniques or methodologies. Psychiatric Genetics publishes original Research Reports dealing with inherited factors involved in psychiatric and neurological disorders.

PHARMACOLOGY BIOCHEMISTRY AND BEHAVIOR

Pharmacology Biochemistry & Behavior publishes original reports in the areas of pharmacology and biochemistry in which the primary emphasis and theoretical context are behavioral. Contributions may involve clinical, preclinical, or basic research. Purely biochemical or toxicology studies will not be published. Papers describing the behavioral effects of novel drugs in models of psychiatric, neurological and cognitive disorders, and central pain must include a positive control unless the paper is on a disease where such a drug is not available yet.

NEUROTOXICOLOGY AND TERATOLOGY

Neurotoxicology and Teratology provides a forum for publishing new information regarding the effects of chemical and physical agents on the developing, adult or aging nervous system. In this context, the fields of neurotoxicology and teratology include studies of agent-induced alterations of nervous system function, with a focus on behavioral outcomes and their underlying physiological and neurochemical mechanisms.

NEUROSCIENCE LETTERS

Neuroscience Letters is devoted to the rapid publication of short, high-quality papers of interest to the broad community of neuroscientists. Papers in all areas of neuroscience - molecular, cellular, developmental, systems, behavioral, cognitive, and computational - will be considered for publication. Submission of laboratory investigations that shed light on disease mechanisms is encouraged.

NEUROREPORT

NeuroReport is a channel for rapid communication of new findings in neuroscience. It is a forum for the publication of short but complete reports of important studies that require very fast publication. Papers are accepted on the basis of the novelty of their finding, on their significance for neuroscience and on a clear need for rapid publication. Preliminary communications are not suitable for the Journal. Submitted articles undergo a preliminary review by the editor. Some articles may be returned to authors without further consideration.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGY

Neuropsychology® publishes original, empirical research; systematic reviews and meta-analyses; and theoretical articles on the relation between brain and human cognitive, emotional, and behavioral function. All submissions with implications for neuropsychological research, theory, and practice are welcome. Articles that increase understanding of neuropsychological functions in both healthy and disordered states and across the lifespan are encouraged.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGIA

Neuropsychologia is an international interdisciplinary journal devoted to experimental and theoretical contributions that advance understanding of human cognition and behavior from a neuroscience perspective. The journal will consider for publication studies that directly link brain function with cognitive processes, including perception, attention and consciousness, action and motor control, executive functions and cognitive control, memory, language, and emotion and social cognition.

NEUROPSYCHOBIOLOGY

The biological approach to mental disorders continues to yield innovative findings of clinical importance, particularly if methodologies are combined. This journal collects high quality empirical studies from various experimental and clinical approaches in the fields of Biological Psychiatry, Biologi-cal Psychology and Neuropsychology.

NEUROPHYSIOLOGIE CLINIQUE-CLINICAL NEUROPHYSIOLOGY

Published under the auspices of the French Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (Société de Neurophysiologie Clinique de Langue Française). Clinical Neurophysiology delivers the most recent and prominent developments in neurophysiologic investigations of the central and peripheral nervous system, and of the muscle of healthy or ill human beings and animals. Regular sections include original research, general reviews, short communications and a correspondence section which increase knowledge, provide guidelines and stimulate research in the field.
